Brianna Viglietta, DVM

Dr. Brianna Viglietta is the Chief of Staff Veterinarian at Land O’ Lakes Animal Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University and completed her clinical training at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine — Go Vols!

Dr. Viglietta’s professional interests include surgery, internal medicine, and nutrition, with a particular passion for preventative medicine and client education. She believes that many health problems can be prevented or identified earlier through routine wellness care, proper nutrition, year-round parasite prevention, and maintaining a healthy body weight. One of her favorite parts of veterinary medicine is helping pet owners better understand their pets’ health and giving them practical tools to help their animals live longer, healthier lives.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Viglietta loves traveling, spending time at the beach, and getting lost in a good book. She is also a devoted pet parent with a household full of animals — all named after country music artists! Her feline crew includes Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Chesney, and George Strait. She also shares her home with Luke Combs, a Cavapoo (pictured with her), and Chase Rice, a Grenadian Pothound.

Whether she is in the operating room, discussing a nutrition or weight-management plan, working through a challenging internal medicine case, or educating families about preventative care, Dr. Viglietta’s goal is to help pet owners feel informed and confident in making the best decisions for their pets.
